Riôtel Bonaventure

Closest to the sea of any hotel in Gaspésie

Situated in the Baie des Chaleurs, the Riôtel Bonaventure is an integral part of the heritage of the picturesque village of Bonaventure. This establishment, originally named Le Château Blanc, was built in 1906 and was a favourite summer residence of the business elite from Québec and the United States. The location was renowned for the nearby salmon river and the extraordinary clearness of its waters.

A magical landscape with an Acadian accent
With its closeness to the sea, the tranquility of the Bonaventure River or the many activities available to visitors, Bonaventure is a charming summer destination with a distinct Acadian flair. Add to the pleasure of your stay with a trip by sea kayak or canoe down the Bonaventure River; enjoy a swim in the sea from the beaches of Baie des Chaleurs; visit the Gaspésie Bioparc or the Acadian Museum of Québec.

This is a seasonal hotel, open from mid-May to mid-October.
