Day 1
Visit Reford Gardens
Visit Reford Gardens, a true plant paradise on the banks of the St. Lawrence famous for being one of the largest gardens in North America.

Day 2
Discover Matane
Visit the Jardins de Doris, ranked as one of the 50 must-visit gardens in Quebec. This charming and original attraction is brimming with different activities and sites. Your kids will be entertained for hours reliving the story of the Three Little Pigs, playing a giant game of checkers and feeding the goats and sheep. Then take a walk around Parc des Îles, where you can take part in several different activities. You can also visit the salmon run observation centre, where you can watch the salmon run and see an exposition about the Atlantic salmon migration.

Day 3
Fish fossil hunting
Head towards Bonaventure via the Matapedia Valley (275 km) and stop off at the Parc National de Miguasha, its fossilized cliff is a UNESCO World Heritage Site: the best place in the world to look for fossilized fish!

Day 4
Paddle down the Bonaventure River
The Bonaventure River is one of the top 10 clearest rivers in the world! Kayak or canoe down the crystalline river with Cime Aventures, who offer a range of guided and rapid-free activities for beginners.

Day 5
Visit the Bioparc wildlife park
The Bioparc wildlife park is a must-visit attraction on the Gaspé Peninsula where you can discover the wealth of Gaspésian flora and fauna through its five ecosystems. Then let your creative side out to play and take part in the Make-and-Take workshops at Ateliers du funambule. On the menu: painting masks, making necklaces, fabric painting and decorative collages.

Day 6
Action-packed day in Grande-Rivière
Head to Grande-Rivière for an action-packed day at Circuit Nitram Plus, home to a go-kart track and five waterslides!

Day 7
Parc National de l’Île-Bonaventure-et-du-Rocher-Percé
Take a boat trip out to the Parc National de l’Île-Bonaventure-et-du-Rocher-Percé. You can get off at Bonaventure Island to admire the impressive Northern Gannet colony. From there you can set our on a treasure hunt! You’ll find loads of pretty stones of all shapes and colours on the beaches around Percé, including agate and jasper. Explore the Coin-du-Banc and Cap-d’Espoir beaches and see what you can find.

Day 8
Visit Exploramer
Stop off at Sainte-Anne-des-Monts and visit Exploramer, an activity centre focused on the St. Lawrence’s marine life, there’s an aquarium, museum, fish collecting activities and trips out to sea!
