Your adventure will take you west out of Matane, travelling toward the bridge over the Tartigou River which forms the border between Matanie and Mitis. The panoramic view at Mont-Saint-Pierre lets you see and feel the vastness of the land. Make the most of the elevation and the 360° visibility to take exceptional photos. The snowfall in this zone is definitely one of the most impressive in Gaspésie.

After your passage through Sainte-Irène you’ll start to make your way back, crossing the Parc regional de la Seigneurie du lac Matapédia. The view of the lake adds to the splendour of your time in this place where untamed nature dominates the landscape. As you approach the end of your day’s adventure, take the path through the Saint-Léandre wind energy park and pause for a moment to enjoy a view of the Saint Lawrence river.
